Sounds like a fantastic trip! I have chaperoned by high school students on out of town trips before, but never (yet) done it as a parent. The perspective would be different, but still a lot of fun. I hope everyone had tremendous fun!
As an elementary teacher, it’s so much fun (and a whole lot easier!) to chaperone teenagers! And bonus, my daughter actually likes having me come along!
I’ve always had a lot of fun when I’ve chaperoned trips. It’s exhausting (especially as I don’t like any kind of sleep disruptions!) but so rewarding. I can smell that coffee already!!
Choir kids tend to be pretty well-behaved. We tape their hotel room doors closed at bed check so they can’t escape in the night! Works like a charm. 👍🏻
